This past weekend we wrapped up Johannesburg’s racing season with the Sansui Summer Cup 2016.
I’m a little sad that it’s over. I’ve been looking forward to each of these events. It’s been such an amazing journey, I’ve been working with the best team and met some amazing people along the way.
The Sansui Summer Cup is Johannesburg’s biggest horseracing event. It was held at Turffontein RaceCourse and the theme this year was “A Splash of Pink”.
The other influencers and I with our guests were seated in the Summer Garden which had amazing views of the racecourse and ofcourse the perfect photo backdrop- I mean who doesn’t like a good photo op??
There were dancers and drummers entertaining the crowds in between the races and as well as performances by artists including Kwesta, Major League DJs, Speedsta, Nadia Nakai – to name a few, later in the evening.
I absolutely loved this event. So much fashion and fun, not like your usual horseracing event.
Here are a few pics of the beautiful people and fashion from the day
I was fortunate enough to be dressed by TopShop for this event. I opted for the exaggerated culottes and tank from there and topped it off the look with a blazer from my closet.
I hope you’ve enjoyed this journey over the past few months, I know I have. You’ll definitely be seeing me at more of these.
