So I’ve always thought that when I started working I would really be into pencil skirts but I’ve managed to prove myself wrong.
I love pants. Tapered pants, high waisted pants, wide leg pants.. you get the point. Pencil skirts just don’t have character the way pants do and I can do my sassy walk so much better in pants, haha. So when I do wear a pencil skirt it needs to have some sort of character (see my grey pencil skirt with the dramatic slit here).
Then there was this beauty.
I’ll be honest I fished it out of my sisters closet and I’m in love (I’ve unofficially claimed it). It’s a leather look, brown, quilted pencil skirt with black and gold zip detail. And it fits like a glove.
I’m in pencil skirt heaven here. I always believe less is more and the simple black items (shoes and top) compliment this skirt perfectly and make it office ready.
I hope you’ve all enjoyed all the lovely public holidays we’ve been getting but I’m more than ready to get back to business.
