One Day At A Time

I’ve been going through a lot of personal stuff lately. My mom has been going through some health issues and I haven’t been dealing too well with it. Also, you know when you’re not feeling great emotionally, it tends to manifest physically too. That said, I wasn’t sure if I wanted to make a blog post this week.
Thing is though, I find this blog to be a form of therapy for me so I made myself soldier on. From taking the pictures to writing to the posts, to all the amazing feedback I get from everyone.

I’ve learnt there’s no formula to this life thing, you just need to take it with faith one day at a time.

So I got dressed up, got a little spring in my step and went on to take my pictures so here we are.

I asked Lesedi to style me this week and I absolutely love it (Lesedi takes most of my pictures). The brief was simple- I wanna try something different but still me.

She nailed it.

I love this outfit, it’s just the right balance of girly-chic-sophisticated. And it adds a little drama to your everyday work look while still being on trend with the off-shoulder top. Also, the pop of color from the shoes perfectly compliments that monochromatic look.

  1. Sometimes we see ourselves as super heroes and the reality of pain does not escape us. I always say if you can’t get over it, then go through it because fearing the feeling won’t make it go away. This post is absolutely stunning

    1. Thanks Mpumi. It’s not always easy to allow yourself to feel all the emotions you’re going through because you want to be strong for hose around you. But you’re right, pain is pain and sometimes it’s better to face it head on <3
