I know I’ve been a little quiet lately. My apologies. I feel really bad since I feel like I’ve been really consistent with my posting. I started the year promising myself I’d post every single week and I was doing well except for the past two weeks.
As I mentioned I was and still am going through some personal stuff but I’m a lot more functional at this stage.
Anyway, I’m back and I promise to go back to my regular programming.
So I go through this thing where sometimes I worry that the outfit I’m gonna post might be too simple or boring. I mean why blog about it if it’s not extraordinary right? But I’ve learnt that when it comes to fashion and style and blogging it’s important to stay authentic.
I wouldn’t want to find myself blogging about outfits I’d never actually wear in my day to day life (- unless the whole concept of the shoot is extravagant). Those who know me know I’m very simple when it comes to my style. I like to keep it to the basics with a twist.
About the look:
Cullotes are definitely one of my favorite trends and I’d like to think they’ll be in for a while.
I don’t get to wear my hats very often because of my braids- they kinda just don’t fit :(. Is there such a thing as an extra large hat out there?? So whenever I have a weave on I like to embrace it and throw on hats to add some flavor to my outfits. I paired the pants with a slight bell sleeve top and added a pop of color with the shoes.
