4 Looks for 4 Corporate Girls

Hey, I haven’t done a fashion post in a while. This is mainly because when I started blogging again (read here) I decided that I wouldn’t put out posts unless they were truly valuable. So I didn’t want to just put out random fashion posts, they have to truly be valuable.

As you all know, I worked with Superbalist in the past month and when I was picking my outfits I started thinking about how what I wear to work on each day depends on who I am that day. No, I don’t have a split personality! My mood will simply inform my choice on each day.

So I decided to do a round up of four looks that represent the different me’s that show up each day at work.

The Trendy Girl

I’ve repeatedly said wrt my style that I really don’t follow trends. Personally, it’s too much work. I just cant keep up. That doesn’t mean though that I will never buy a trendy item because I mean, when it’s cute it’s cute :P. So for this look I went with what my sister calls ‘The Influencer Print’ because right now in Feb 2019 all the influencers are wearing it, haha. I get it though, it’s very cute. I’ve incorporated it into my work wardrobe by choosing a muted color and classic blouse style:

Sexy Boss Lady

You’ll notice I don’t often wear tight fitting outfits to work. But every once in a while I like to put on a dress that fits well mainly because of the way it makes me feel. There’s something about a very feminine outfit that makes me feel powerful. Yes, the two can go together.

Classic

This is probably my go to look for work. Classic check high-waisted trousers and a black blazer. No matter the weather and occasion, you’ll always find me in a blazer.

Modest/Conservative

I love layering. It makes me feel very put together and like I truly made an outfit. This look is perfectly between subtle and still in your face and I would say fashionably modest.

How do you like to dress to work?  Does your mood affect your style like mine? Share your thoughts below.
