The weather in Johannesburg has been weird lately nonetheless the great thing is that it’s been a lot warmer and that means we can get back to short shorts, flowy dresses and shades all day.
I recently collaborated with Edgars on a campaign for their international brands. Where I got to style 3 looks for spring/summer.
Lunch dates are the best part of summer. Sitting outdoors with a nice view enjoying cocktails and a light lunch catching up with old friends. I decided to go for something comfortable for this look. A pair of shorts with a flowing cold shoulder top and a hat to top it of- pun intended. My favorite part of the look has to be the shoes though. I’m loving mules for summer. They’re really comfortable and are an easy way to make your outfits look a little more chic and stylish this season.

We all know the iconic saying from The Devil Wears Prada by our beloved Miranda “Florals for spring? Iconic” and while we get her sentiments we can’t help but fall head over heels for the floral trend each time the blooming season comes around.
If you know me you know I’m big on monochromatic colors so this dress made it easy for me to take a step in the floral direction. The dark colors offset with the muted pink and blue of the flowers are what I love about the dress. Not to mention it’s right on trend with the cold shoulder.

For the 3rd look we were going for something a bit more street wear but I couldn’t let The Office Edit in me not come to the show and styled a look perfect for a day out as well as a day in the office. Exaggerated sleeves are NOT on their way out and I decided to style these with paper bag pants and metallic brogues.
